The British Defence Equipment Catalogue is an annual reference work listing the products and services of companies in the British defence industry whilst the British Defence Industry Directory, launched in 2002 as an official publication of the Defence Export Services Organisation, provides a definitive listing of companies and contacts. The internet site, bdec-online.com has been operational since October 2001 and is fully searcheable by company, product, service, trade name and individual executive. Current hit rates average more than 40,000 every working day.
